Constant Van Paesschen's top horses auctioned via HOPA

With the European championship showjumping of Aachen coming up, Hopa.be, the online auction platform for exclusive showjumping and dressage horses, announces the auction of young Constant Van Paesschen's 4 top horses. Citizenguard Cadjanine Z, Citizenguard Taalex, Citizenguard Million Dreams and Citizenguard Toscan de Sainte Hermelle are exceptional horses. The auction will take place at the end of this month or the beginning of the next.

The website Hopa.be was launched a few days before last Christmas. The online auction platform immediately caught the public attention with the auction of Cabrio van de Heffinck, the top horse that brought Olivier Philippaerts to his victory in the GP of Spruce Meadows. "A lot of people contacted me to sell their horse since that auction", comments CEO Kevin Roosens of Hopa.be. "Approximately two months ago, the Van Paesschen family and owner Alain Van Campenhoudt, together with his wife Elodie Laborde, contacted me with the question if there would be a market for their top horses. We gained the respect of the equestrian community with the selling of Cabrio van de Heffinck. Our contacts are everywhere in the world: from Russia to the United Arab Emirates, from the United States to Down Under. Two of the horses presented for sale are from the highest level hopa.be ever auctioned. It will not be easy to find a buyer and there is no guarantee of a success. But I gladly accept this challenge...", says Kevin Roosens.

"- This does not mean my collaboration with the Van Paesschen family ends! My intention is to replace those four horses with a few younger ones that can be brought to the highest level...", says owner Alain Van Campenhoudt (Citizenguard)

Constant Van Paesschen is the 21 year old son of previous showjumping rider Stanny Van Paesschen, who took team bronze with the Belgian team at the 1976 Montreal Olympics. Constant is currently in 37th position on the world ranking and showed impressive performances in the Longines Global Champions Tour this year. He took the victory and the second place with Citizenguard Taalex in Madrid.

Owner Alain Van Campenhoudt (Citizenguard) and his wife Elodie Laborde is looking forward to this auction: "This does not mean my collaboration with the Van Paesschen family ends! My intention is to replace those four horses with a few younger ones that can be brought to the highest level. We chose the auction platform HOPA due to the good experiences of previous sellers and we are confident the auction will be a success."
